General Objectives: After 2-3 hours of case presentation, we the BSN-II students will be able to enhance our knowledge and improve our skills including our attitudes towards the delivery of health care process in the community with the guidelines and principles of COPAR. Specific Objectives: After the case presentation, the students will be able to: -establish good working relationship with the members of the team in achieving success of the presentation. -discuss well the features of the community that had served as the basis of the outcomes of the study. -present the data gathered. -impart every individuals opinion for the progress of the presentation. -identify the certain points that is vital towards the whole subject matter. -defend the outcomes achieved after analysis of the collected information. -expand the different ideas of the members for the better understanding of the clinical instructors. -achieve the expected outcomes within the given time. -develop critical analysis about the contributing factors of the whole activity -accept negative comments and criticism positively from the clinical instructors. Rationale It was rather evident during the ocular survey that Sitio Luy-a is experiencing common health problems. It was later observed that the community members are practicing improper management that has put them in a situation that would somehow possibly result to the exposure of some health risk factors. The geographical size of the area hindered them to provide them selves enough space to accommodate other vital facilities such as pens for their livestock and proper drainage of their wastes. Considering the threats of the inhabitants of breading disease agents, community needs to be put into awareness of the proper manipulation of their environment that involves proper managing of environment and ones behavior considering their disinterest for environmental clean up and destroying breeding sites of these harmful agents. The goal of this study includes an examination of the managerial and economic aspects of the rapid acquisition of the different physical set-ups and pattern of activities in the different household. The study gears towards the elimination and control of environmental factors in disease transmission through the provision of basic services such as health teachings to all household under survey in Sitio Luy-a.
