a) Discuss the design issue in making the frame format of IEEE 802.11 wireless LAN and IEEE 802.3 frame format. b) Discuss the various methods by which collision problem was solved in both the standards.

Give your idea about how a computer can be added to a virtual LAN and can be shifted to another virtual LAN.

In WAN, very high speed protocols are needed for data transmission. Explain such supporting protocols.
Q4.
Draw the IPv4 Datagram format and explain each field by taking assumptions, also give example of each field in binary form.

Instructions: 1.
Students are requested not to submit incomplete and rough like assignments, which results the same as non-submission and hence not allowed to sit for the Assignment Test and therefore their assignment mark for the same will be entered ZERO. 2. The Assignment should be written strictly on A4 sheet, in which the Cover Page and Assembly Language related answers should be in printed form. However, Timing Diagram related answers should be strictly by hand written. 3. It is mandatory to write the question of every answer too. 4. Submission after the deadline is strictly rejected. Students are directed to bring A4 sheet during the Assignment Test, which will be of only 15 minutes duration, and the remaining time will be as usual converted into a lecture class.
