Services were June 5 in Arvada Covenant Church. Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Turner, a native of Williamson, W.Va., was a laboratory technician at Public Service Co. until his retirement in 1977. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn; two sons, Sherwood Jr. of Westminster and David of Colorado Springs; one sister, Marie Taylor of La Mesa, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

She worked for a few years in a church day care center. She did sewing and made dresses for extra money. Throughout her life her name was Marie G. Turner then Marie G. Taylor when she married.
