Harmony with the Environment Harmony Residents Group

1

In March, We Asked Council to be Proactive on Project Niagara 1. Allocate resources to conduct our own study. • •

Analyse impacts, define solutions, project costs Roads and traffic, parking enforcement, policing, legal, waste disposal

2. Request regular updates from Project Niagara. 3. Facilitate ongoing public discussion. 4. Influence decisions. NOTL will own this. We must be ready. Harmony for Niagara-on-the-Lake July 28, 2008

We Conducted Our Own Research and Analysis We: 1. Reviewed reports from Niagara Region. 2. Made phone calls. 3. Surfed the web. 4. Visited Tanglewood.

And We Confirmed That We Should: 1. Remain concerned about impacts to the environment. 2. Be nervous about impacts to us as residents. 3. Be skeptical about the benefits. 4. Worry about the costs.
