Our Mission Provide information sharing services across the Intelligence Enterprise

Who W e A re: • Department of the Army Intelligence Information Services (DA IIS) is the primary intelligence information dissemination site for the U.S. Army. DA IIS provides a broad spectrum of intelligence support functions to Army and Intelligence Community customers.

• Located at Headquarters, U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, DA IIS is a staff element under the INSCOM ACoS G3 and OPCON to Army G2. Our mission includes fulfilling Army requirements for intelligence dissemination, access, and data management. Federal Knowledge Center The DA IIS Federal Knowledge Center encompasses reporting of CONUS terrorism and state-specific threats including: violent attacks, international terrorist travel, and human and drug trafficking. We gather reporting that is available on NIPRNET, SIPRNET & JWICS and display it in a structured format for each state. We provide overall situational awareness and force protection information in one easy to access location.

DCGS-A Data Management • IIS is the executive agent for data management and a member of the G-2 directed data council

• Focus is on providing relevant data to the Warfighter

• Expands collaboration across the IC • IIS provides the focus and direction in acquiring new sources and identifying data shortfalls and duplication.

• IIS offers solutions to ensure each DCGS “brain” has sufficient data to support this flat network
