 Design Engineering: Design Engineering is a general term that covers multiple engineering disciplines including electrical, mechanical, chemical engineer, aeronautical engineer, civil, structural/building/architectural engineers. The uniting concept is a focus on applying the 'engineering design process, in which engineers develop new products or processes with a primary emphasis on functional utility. While industrial designers may be responsible for the conceptual aesthetic and ergonomic aspects of a design, the design engineer usually works with a team of engineers and other designers to develop conceptual and detailed designs. He may work with industrial designers and marketers to develop the product concept and specifications, and may direct the design effort

 Thinking Procedure:     

Find our goal Evaluation of goal Generate proposals Evaluation of proposals Improvements

1. STORY BOARDING CANVAS: Understanding the problem of society is one of the biggest challenges for engineering student as till now they were making project on imaginary ideas. So the day 1 session was based on understanding the domains of the problem in broader sense which emphasized on interacting with the people of your domain area which included more of casual talk rather than technical session. And this is the story boarding canvas. As we know that, many crowd places like Garage, Industry, High ways or etc. have very big issue related with the parking because sometimes they have not much space for parking.

1.1 Users  

General Peoples Shopping Malls

1.2 Activities   

The general activities are: Visited Automated Parking System ,Ahmedabad. A system is working on sensors and computer

2. AEIOU SUMMARY: 

After finishing all 3 canvas, we started working on AEIOU summary where A: Activities E: Environment I: Interactions O: Objects U: Users This canvas is totally based on the observation. After observing some places likeParking system, we have started working to make it fair

3.IDEATION CANVAS: After we have started working with people where we simply thought about the people for whom we want to solve the problem. We started with our ideation canvas. For our product we have listed the people who can generally use this system. All general people like l, etc are people who will use thissystem. The thought for context/location /situation and finally for possible solutions.

3.1 Activities  

Giving the parking receipt System is working on sensors

3.2 Situation/location / context  

During weekends Rush at religious place in Festival

3.3 Props possible solution is    

Division of Parking Space Hydraulic Mechanism Roof top parking Floor Managing at parking lots
