In Dcs System consist of 6 computers, that define as 4 clients and 2 servers the picture above is the main plan of DCS in PJPP. Each computer has two network cards install inside that connect one to HUB A and the other to HUB B. From computer to HUB they use RJ45 connector and from server to CPM unit they use T tap connection. We have line A and B that being use by client one for operation the other for back up in case of one network card fail. The same case applied for server they use two network card in each computer to connect to HUB, however there are additional Network card connect from server to CPM and also used line A and B for operational and back up. All these configuration call redundant structure.
The communication between computer is being controlled by Station program. It use IP address to communicate.Station can only have 1 primary server working at once and the other server is standby and work as client on that condition. In normal condition server A is a primary server but if some thing happened the primary server change to server B and client are must be set to server B operation. In client the are
two kind connection condition first connect to server A and the other to Server B provided by vendor (louxin) so if the is an error in server we can easily connect to active server.
The communication between CPM and Server is being controlled by control builder that in certain condition for right now can only be active from server B.

Cases:
1. Client Problems
1. Check the comm. Way Is the network card working normal Is the HUB working Normal 2. Check the primary server Which one of the server is the primary server that active in the station 3. connect menu Check the connection network is it the same with the primary server 4. restart if all of that procedure fail just restart the client
2. Back Up Server Problems
If the back up server that has problems just do the case no 1, because if SERVER A is the primary server so the SERVER B is just a client. The same case happened if the primary server is SERVER B so the SERVER A is just a client
3. Primary Server Problems
In this condition all the clients is displaying Nan value in all indication, in normal condition the primary server being handled by the other server and just connect to server that active and do the procedure as bellow:
1. Restart the primary server, if restart A so B Become server 2. Client connect to server B 3. If you see the server A is ok 4. Change Manually from the station program, the primary server to A 5. Client connect to A
4. Power Shutdown for all DCS system
All the power to DCS computer shutdown and when it come back the system restart not in normal way. It may cause the CPM not working or Idle. So the connection to server abnormal, we can see the red light in network card to CPM so in these case do the bellow procedure:
1. check server A & B the light on the network card is green or red, if red restart the computer if green do the next procedure. 2. in control builder program on server B right click to CPM01 that is in blue color and choose active tab and select CEE and all content.
3. If you see the server A is ok 4. Change Manually from the station program, the primary server to A 5. Client connect to A 5. Trend Error
1. The problems when case no 4 or no 3 happened, trend in client also got the effect because the history of trend store in server A, if the primary server is server B so trend not active. 2. try to active the server A 3. check the date of server A if it is change, change to actual date. 4. make sure that the date in correct value.
