Module Summary There are several call types that are used in a VoIP network. Analog ports can be connected directly to a phone, FAX, or other end device in a VoIP network, or as they can be connected trunks. Dial peers are used to route calls to the proper device. Digital ports are used as trunks to the PSTN, corporate WAN, or a PBX. QSIG is usually used to interconnect PBXs from different vendors.
