Professional Experience – 12 years (Total) Consultant at MART (India’s leading Rural Marketing Consultancy) since March 2003 Key Assignments: Leading grass root implementation and rural market research based consulting projects. Strategy formulation in the areas of distribution, above the line and below the line communication in Rural markets. •

Conceptualized an effective rural marketing model for HPCL called ‘Rasoi Ghar’. This concept was successfully implemented for the BOP community and was awarded by Rural Marketing Association of India in the Year 2006



Designed an innovative and viable rural distribution model by providing livelihood opportunities for rural youth and creating a win-win solution in Public Private Partnership domain. This model was highly recognized and is currently being piloted and implemented in different parts of the country for various organizations



Conceptualized, planned and implemented a pan India rural communication strategy for GC sheet brand of TATA Steel using Haats & Melas medium. This programme helped the company overtake the market leader and establish its own position in rural India



Assessed and analyzed the acceptance of low cost distribution of healthcare for Novartis through a 3 State pilot project. This RMAI Award winning concept was accepted and recognized by the company and successfully rolled out in 150 districts in 6 Indian States. The project plans to reach 50 million patients by Year 2010



Project planning, execution and handholding for PATH (International Funding Agency) funded ‘Household Safe Drinking Water’ project in UP



Developed a prototype testing model for Phillips Solar Lighting for Indian village community



Strategized and implemented a unique 3600 last mile distribution model and an awareness programme for North Eastern Rural market
