Resident Engineer a) DANIDA/USAID & IFAD sponsored equipment Loan scheme for labor based contractors  Appraised, approved, disbursed, recovered and invested over $1.0 million worth of USAID/DANIDA & IFAD revolving fund granted as part of an equipment loan scheme to over 43 labor-based feeder road contractors (beneficiaries) for feeder road development.

 Managed and controlled over $5 million worth of USAID/DANIDA & IFAD Funds used for contract payments to over 43 labor-based feeder road contractors under the equipment loan scheme.

 Monitored & recovered over 44% of the USAID/DANIDA & IFAD revolving fund/Equipment loan disbursed as at Dec.2002.  Invested the recovered funds into fixed deposits and other financial instruments periodically.  Monitored & reported on the feeder road projects executed by these 43 laborbased feeder road contractors and the equipment loans granted from 1994 till date. Out of which over 26 reports were prepared and submitted to the Donor agencies and the DFR.

 Prepared, submitted and claimed project management fees worth over $300,000 for the bank.  Prepared & Submitted credit reports on behalf of the project beneficiaries & other contractors for the acquisition of advanced mobilization guarantees, performance bonds, bid bonds, overdrafts, loans etc.  Prepared & submitted the annual income/expenditure budget for the unit for the year 2002.  Restructured the debts of the beneficiaries of the equipment loan scheme.  Represented the equipment loan scheme at several loan approval committee meetings and other meetings with the donor agency.

 Assessed the technical/market feasibility of the assumptions that forms the basis for financial projections of several development projects.

 Investigated payment certificates and claims worth over $532,000 submitted by contractors for the acquisition of credit facilities.
