3 How well are Rethink students get engaged?

Be tailored

Curriculumactivities underpine a set of common principles Students are expected to ask questions. Students will receive the module book with all relevant objectives and assessment sheets. Such book will included detailed describtions of how the planning module is related to hospitality and how it fits into the global idea of creating enduring diversity and benefits for corporate communities. There will be consultancy hours when students can address questions. One expert and the tutor will be present at the time. In general lectures, experts and tutors will act as guides and coaches only. Students will cooperate with a real company and experts at the property who will be supportive. Students will choose one company and apply their knowledge gained during PBL, lectures and workshops. A group of students, 3 to 4, will act as a mangement team to support the company. Students will work with highly professinal some of whom are experts from the industry. Students will defend their assignment outside the company at a place of high interest, which could be a 5 star hotel or central world business area. Successful students will pass the module and will receive 12 European Credits. Student will receive feedback on the working process and group work during PBL sessions and consultancy hours. Students will be given the opportunity to consult experts and will look for second opinions. The career development coach will be responsible for the professional development of competencies and the application of Students will be self-critical and judgemental within the group to carry out the assignment and PBL sessions successfully. Students will have the opportunity the revise the assignment in case of failor or poorly outcomes. PBL sessions cannot be resited. Replacement assignments can be applied for if the module assignment result is poor. Students are requested to participate in workshops and be self-active in workshops. Doers will be strongly engaged in the assignment and PBL sessions. Deciders will be the decion makers, mostly leaders who will push the group to achieve the objectives. Thinkers will benefit from answering learning objectives at PBL sessions and will have time to think of the application process of prior and new knowledge in order to apply it to the module assignment. Dreamers will support the group with ideas where everybody feels at easy to work. Each learning style will benefit from one another to learn about enduring marketing processes.
