CRESENT IS PROUD TO BE ONE OF THE FOUNDING MEMBERS OF THE SUSTAINABLE FURNISHINGS COUNCIL. The SFC is a new industry organization formed to promote sustainable practices within the home furnishings industry and raise awareness among consumers and buyers. We are working to expand our sustainable practices and are committed to continuous improvement in all our activities.” Specifically Cresent is... Working with finish suppliers to use coatings with low emissions, VOC's and HAP's. Working with lumber vendors to ensure an increasing percentage of sustainably forested timber is available for us to use. Specifying packaging with a high recycled-content and using boxes printed with soy or vegetable-based inks. We recycle all inbound packing material and all recyclable office waste.
