Examples : 12 >> jū ni , 17 >> jū nana. For 20,21,…,99 uses system h + 10 + x. Examples : 57 : go jū nana, 85 >> hachi jū go ~ hyaku : ~hundred Examples : 200 : ni hyaku 300 : san hyaku >> san byaku 600 : roku hyaku >> roppyaku 800 : hachi hyaku >> happyaku ~en (¥). Examples: ¥ 527 : go hyaku ni jū nana-en
¥ 875 : happyaku nana jū go-en ~sen : ~thousand. Examples:
4000 : yon sen 3000 : san sen >> sanzen 8000 : hachi sen >>hassen ¥ 8957 : hassen kyū hyaku go jū nana-en
