Saucy Comebacks Saucy Comebacks are also known as Counterarguments. Counterarguments Identify the three main arguments you will be making in your persuasive speech. Then, for each of your main arguments, imagine what someone’s counterargument might be. For example: If your main argument is that dragon’s are real, how would you respond to someone saying that there is no scientific evidence? Perhaps you might whoop this person’s argument by saying that scientists have not specifically looked hard enough for evidence of dragons……Get it!? Try it out! Argument One:
