Coron ,palawan

Coron is one of the four municipalities in the Calamian Group of Islands and is the northernmost municipality of Palawan. It is located halfway between Manila and the provincial capital of Palawan, the City of Puerto Princesa. It is the first port of call for ships plying from Manila and it is therefore the northern gateway to the Province of Palawan. The municipality has a total land area of 94,952.60 hectares or 949.526 square kilometers. It consists of twenty three (23) barangays of which six (6) are within the Poblacion and five (5) are island barangays. It composed of sixty three (63) islands and islets and only about a dozen are permanently inhabited. It covers the eastern half of Busuanga Island, the Coron Island and the nearby small islands such as Dimaquia Island (CUB PARADISE RESORT) in the north, Tara and Camanga Island in the northeast, Delian Island in the east and Canipo Island in the south. •
