International Economic Development Tools for Agricultural Major Students This training module looks to provide international economic development training to students without an economic background. The module will work as follows: •
Students will realize the importance of mastering basic economic principles in their professional performance,

Economic principles will be presented and discussed with students. They will get proficiency in their use, understanding and application,
•
The module will be designed to work with in situ and distance students. Delivery strategies will include: readings to provide economic fundamentals; discussion with the instructor and classmates to clarify economic concepts; conferences with experts to understand the need for the training; applied projects to develop economic skills; other electronic tools to reinforce the learning process,
•
Content of the module will be prepared according to the instructor’s own experience, job market demand (interviews) and students’ own needs,
•
Evaluation will be based on the development of economic skills by students. It will consider: students’ self evaluation, application of economic principles in their final projects, students’ analysis capabilities (in the open discussions) and instructor’s own perceptions.
