"Ray Pilon understands the challenges that people face and has proven that he is capable of being a public servant who will meet those challenges head-on," Buchanan said. "Ray will be a welcome addition to the delegation we send to Tallahassee." "I am honored to have the endorsement of one of Southwest Florida's most effective public servants," Pilon said. Pilon served as an elected member of the Sarasota Board of County Commissioners from 1996-2000, and has been active through the years in the community by actively participating with the Greater Sarasota Chamber of Commerce.
