Confronting Ethical Dilemmas BOH 4M 1. Pierre should not open the package. Clearly, this kind of information would ensure his company’s success over the other company’s, and his win would be based on fraud. The ethical decision would clearly be to send back the package unopened. Although we live in a “dog-eat-dog” world, particularly where business is concerned, honesty is always the best policy.
