Condemned at Birth This paper will present all disclaimers up front. The paper is not an educational study, has no ties to any university, and has not used in any form a scientific method. The paper is simply observations on my life and will be added to my pdfcokewebpage for the future. The hope is that several hundred years from now an archeologist might discover this writing somewhere and understand the life of average people during this particular time and space. Written history comes from scribes who are bought and paid for by the people in power that want their lives to be remembered in certain ways. History, written or oral, is quite personal and shaded by the person that lived it. In true analysis, most people cannot understand their own feelings and actions, so they lie about them or make themselves look benevolent in a cruel and unkind world. It is quite doubtful that a Pharaoh has the same view of the Egyptian history that a middle class worker might have. It is therefore my humble contention that my view of life in America during my life cycle is not the same as what historians will write down. With these disclaimers the focus on American life from the late 1940’s to present, which is 2009, I present my view of society with the American class system. There are many that dispute America has a class system. Others say it is a wonderful system because there are no limits set on the class system. It is said that with hard work anyone can cross the classes from the lower class to the upper class. I contend this is utter nonsense and the American class system is far more insidious and restraining than the compared medieval East Indian caste system. In the caste system of India, you knew from the moment you were born you were condemned at birth. There were four castes. It was the lower caste, or untouchables, the worker caste, the warrior caste, and the priest caste. The warrior caste was the wealthiest and owned the wealth of the land. The warrior caste produced the kings and elite. The priest caste was the most revered. Priests were close to God and spent the day in worship, study, and wisdom. If born into a caste, you lived and died into that caste. You were never allowed to marry out of your caste. The purpose was to take pride in your life and who and what you were. You were not to worry about social standing or material wealth. You worked hard at whatever you were born into. There was no questioning your station or wealth. It was less stressful to the individuals not to worry about things they could not achieve. In the United States, from the conception of the country as an independent nation to today’s date there is a structured class system that is far more restrictive than the caste system of India. The class system is far more insidious because it contradicts itself continually. In America we are told to work hard and get an education, but it is almost impossible to elevate oneself from the class to which you were born. This is not saying it cannot be done, but the possibility is extremely rare and it is usually men that succeed at marrying above their stations. It is

a relatively minute number of women that marry above their station in the United States. Here are some examples of men that married above their stations that are historical figures of the United States. George Washington, first president of the United States, although a wealthy land owner, married Martha Custis, a very wealthy widow. Thomas Jefferson married into the wealthy Hemmingsfamily. Abraham Lincoln didn’t marry Mary Todd for her sweet disposition. He married up into her family fortune. There were many wealthy Presidents that followed. These political marriages were based on wealth mergers. The wealthy retain the wealthy. Warren Harding was extremely corrupt and one step above a criminal, but he did marry up to grab the wealth. We won’t count Harry Truman since he really wasn’t supposed to be a President. Dwight Eisenhower was a poor boy from the west that went to West Point and married up into the Mamie Dowd family. You don’t think Ike was in love with Mamie’s sweet disposition, do you? LBJ married the lovely Lady Bird and her family wealth. Richard Nixon married Pat for her family wealth and boost into politics. Jimmy Carter married Rosalyn for the same monetary reasons. Then of course we know the poor boy orphan Bill Clinton married up into the Hilary family wealth. The Bushes are at the peak of elite wealth and marriage mergers. Those men don’t need to marry up. The heirs are matched at an early age keeping the wealth all in the family. No, Barack Obama doesn’t count in the marrying up. He came from an upper middle class family and sold his soul into the criminal and corrupt political arena. Don’t believe that poor black boy press. His mother was a PhD and worked for the Ford Foundation. His grandmother was a prominent banker and they lived in Hawaii. At the time he was growing up, a white family in Hawaii not in the military was upper middle class at least. He didn’t work his way through college, it was paid for. He became prominent when he sold his soul to the Chicago criminal political arena. He played the dirty nasty games and accrued power in doing it. Now he has the wealth to go with all the power plays and all the selling of blood of those poor people that trusted him to the vampires. How many women do you know that actually married up to get into the political field? I cannot name one. The women in the political field, and there are only a few, come from wealthy families and were not told they couldn’t go after the golden ring. These women also had support from their fathers as well as their father’s money. The few women that didn’t come from wealthy families like Sarah Palin and Ms. Ferraro were butchered alive by the media. Golda Meir is the only woman I am aware of in my lifetime that became a leader of a nation, but she left America to do it. She was the Prime Minister of Israel. This paper is not only about women suffering in the United States alone. It is merely examples and women do suffer more than men in this society. Women are even more restricted to their condemnation of birth in the class system. Economically it is also nearly impossible to get out of the class system you were born into. The elite and upper middle class can physically recognize you.

Surely you are scoffing at the statement, but it is true. The elite male is primarily very tall with sculptured features. The elite male is blonde, sandy brown, or light brown hair with blue or gray eyes. The elite male is Caucasian. The elite male is extremely self centered and self assured. The elite male is promiscuous to the extreme and participates in bi sexual, sadistic, and drug orgies. The elite female usually has a slight frame, small breasts, sculptured features, very thin and not from dieting or starvation, blonde, sandy brown, or light brown hair with blue or gray eyes. Usually the elite woman is as dumb as box with no interests whatsoever other than her husband, playing tennis, having teas, and entertaining. The elite Caucasian woman is raised and educated to be a hostess and nothing more. The elite female is self conscious and extremely quiet. She rarely speaks unless spoken too. The elite female is a coward. The elite female usually has an addiction to alcohol, drugs like cocaine, or prescription drugs. Even if a middle or lower class woman was self educated, starved her body to achieve a tiny figure, hocked everything she owned to be surgically altered and become a Botox beauty, as soon as she opened her mouth and spoke intelligently on any subject, she would be found out and ostracized instantly. Middle and lower class can be Negro, Hispanic, Caucasian, American Indian, Oriental, and any mix of the previous. Middle class can range from tall to short, thin to stout, but are primarily intelligent, concerned with the world and its affairs including environment. The difference immediately identified of course is there are work ethics and a Christian morality. Christianity is another word for enslavement, but to be fair, all religions are a method to enslave the work force and keep humanity in a controlled situation. You work hard for your God. The sad part is that humanity in this time period does not understand the god they work for is the human image set up by the elite Euro-Caucasian to obtain what has been established by them as wealth. If the selected wealth today is gold, silver, diamonds, and other precious stones, we as followers of the religion would provide them with that wealth. In my world today the selected wealth of choice is electronic digits. He who has the most digits sets the God images and that is Euro-Caucasian Christianity right now. We work for salvation and that salvation applies all of our work and sacrifice to the upper elite’s hoarding of digits. In the future humanity will have no other choice but to choose food and water, because we are destroying this planet in the Name of God (Electronic Digits). In conclusion the America of the early twenty first century is and was based on class distinction. There is truly no freedom or democracy in this country, nor was there ever. In the wild frontier of long ago between nature and the indigenous people it was pure survival. In the country of the United States it was and is a rigid structured caste society. Today it is more so and the class distinction has not lessened, it has become more fierce and rigid. I call it the Titanic Syndrome. In 1912 the great ship Titanic sank after running into an iceberg on her maiden voyage. There weren’t enough lifeboats for the passengers. The elite women and children were saved, but the majority of passengers were poor and lower class booking passage to

seek a new life in the new land. The poor were locked in the holds of the shop and drowned. Nothing has changed since then. With all economics and politics, it is the poor that suffer the most and the elite are safe and untouched. Thus, I call it Titanic Syndrome. You are condemned at birth to your status or class in America and simply not allowed to achieve anything else. It is primarily what Plato warned about in democracy. If philosophy was the guide for mankind’s development we would be further ahead with society and protecting our environment that we are currently ruining. There would be no class or caste systems if leadership was determined by intelligence not monetary wealth.
