I. Hypothesis My hypothesis for the bivariate table is that the respondents that are involved in fraternities and sororities have more sexual partners than those respondents that are not involved it those previously stated activities. I have come to this conclusion because respondents involved in fraternities and sororities are more active in the community and are usually subject to meeting more people through their activities.

My hypothesis for the multivariate table is somewhat similar to my bivariate hypothesis but I am controlling for the sex variable. I believe in doing this more male respondents involved with fraternities will have a higher number of sexual partners than the females involved in sororities. I have come to this conclusion because usually men have more sexual partners than women and especially in the college setting.

II. Rationale I believe that my hypothesis will be true because students in college are more likely to have more sexual partners if they are involved with an abundance of people. Respondents in fraternities and sororities are involved in more parties and overall they are usually involved in more activities. This is why I believe that respondents that are involved in fraternities and sororities have more sexual partners.

I also believe that my multivariate hypothesis will prove to hold true because it is a commonly known fact that men are usually more sexually promiscuous than women. In college most men are trying to "sew their royal oats" in their college years and like I

previously stated they are involved in many activities when they come across attractive women with whom they will be attracted to. Women are just as attracted to the male gender but they are more hesitant to engage in these types of activities.

III. Results

Discussion My hypothesis were both completely wrong. In the bivariate table, the results show that more individuals who are not involved in a fraternity and sorority have more sexual partners than those respondents that are. These numbers greatly differ so I can conclude that my hypothesis for this sample of the population of greek members was wrong. In the multivariate tables,
