COMMUNITY EDUCATIONAL FORUMS “BY THE COMMUNITY … FOR THE COMMUNITY” (pz4pz)
“H1N1 ...etc...etc...” (everything you need to know about flu and other fun ways to be ill)
Michelle Barron MD, University of Colorado Denver Yea-yea, we know ... wash your hands, sneeze in your elbow, starve a fever, feed a cold ....... all the usual. But guess what ... things aren’t so usual these days (in case you haven’t watched the news or read a newspaper). There are some pretty nasty things going around out there, including (but not limited to) H1N1 influenza. As persons living with HIV, we need to be well-informed on all these “bugs and cruds” going around. Dr. Barron is the guru of all these types of infections & illnesses, and will give a good overview of prevention, vaccinations, diagnosis, and treatments for all sorts of “fun ways to be ill” this winter.
