HEALTH AND SAFETY COMMITTEE (GRIEVANCE COMMITTEE) Objective Of The Committee The basic objective of formation of the committee is to enhance the awareness of health and safety issues/matters among the workers and to educate them on the preventive measures towards of injuries, accidents, etc… and also mitigate the effects of the related hazards through precaution as all healthy and safety matters through consultation process with the active participation from the management as per the applicable laws,rules regulation and best industry practical. Scope The committee shall have full authority to consider all and any concerned issues impacting their health, safety and work environment. Authority The decision of the authority shall be binding on the management and be enforced promptly. The committee shall have to consult the factory management and issues requiring capital investment and infrastructure changes.

Meetings The Committee shall meet at least once in a month to discuss related issues however any extra ordinary issues may justify meeting at earlier intervals.

Receipts and disposable of compliant

The compliant received shall be properly documented and thoroughly discussed in the immediate ensuring meeting. The method of resolution of compliant shall also be fully documented. All unresolved unused shall be kept recorded with adequate description of the limitation of non resolution and almost end earnest efforts should be exerted to have such issues resolved at the earliest. Minutes Full and complete minutes of the meeting shall be recorded and kept preserved. Communication of decisions The committee shall communicate all pertinent decisions of the factory management for onward action and shall actively participate in the process of implementation measures of healthy and safety fullest extent in co ordination with factory management. SEXUAL HARASSMENT PREVENTION COMMITTEE (COMPLAINTS COMMITTEE) Objective of the Committee The basic objective of forming this committee is to enhance the awareness regarding sexual harassment. It also includes having a mechanism in place to address all complaints through consultation. Process with the active participation from the management as per applicable laws, rules, regulation and best industry practice. Scope The committee shall have full authority to consider all and any concern issue impacting their sexual harassment.

Authority The decision of the authority should be binding on the management and be enforced promptly. The committee shall have to consult the factory management on issues requiring disciplinary action and other legal action.

The Honourable Supreme Court Verdict The Supreme Court has passed a judgement against sexual harassment on women at workplace in WP No: 666-70 1992 Dated 13-8-1997. All

CANTEEN COMMITTEE Objective of the Committee The Basic objective of formation of the committee is to enhance the awareness of canteen (at third floor) where food is supplied at subsidized prices. Any issues relating to the quality or quantity of the food supplied shall be reported through complaint /

suggestion boxes provided at prominent place in each floor. The canteen committee has to educate the employees so as to use the facility in a appropriate manner. The objective also includes having a mechanism a place to address all canteen matters through consultation process with the active participation from the management as per applicable laws, rules, regulation and best industry practical. Scope The committee shall have full authority to consider all and any concerned issues impacting their health, safety and work environment. WORKER’S COMMMITTEE Objective of committee. The workers for their benefits supported by the management formed the workers committee. Here workers are given full liberty to select their leaders. They have been given freedom to join organisation of their choice for their collective bargaining. M/s prateek apparels ensures that workers who make such decision or participate in such organisation are not the object of discrimination or punitive disciplinary actions and that the representations of such organisation have access to their members under conditions established either by local laws or mutual agreement between the employer and the workers organisations.

Workers are educated with company rules and displayed in Bilanguage. The management has also posted relevant laws visible to all workers including safety norms. Scope The committee shall have full authority to consider all any concerned issues impacting their benefits.
