None Indoctrination None Inform Presentation (1) Tracy Rea Students will develop a presentation using (2) Tim Carver visuals, handouts on a topic of his or her choice. (3) Karrie Mundy Example Topics may include "Why Nashville is the (4) Daniel Vincent Mecca for Country Music." or "Why babies cry". (5) Jeff Dow The length of the presentation will be no more than (6) Shelly Hodges 5 minutes in length with 2 minutes of questions from the audience.

Persuasive Speaking Students will develop a presentation that is persuasive in nature. The presentation should be able to persuade the audience to accept or refute the presenter's attempt of persuasion. This type of presentation is selling one's idea or product. Students may try to persuade the audience to buy a tangible product like a stick of chewing gum (for 25cents etc.) or agree to buy a book, based on value added contents described by the presenter. Presenter will have 10 minutes to present/convince the audience. Presentations Continued

Demonstrative Presentation Students will develop a presentation that is demonstrative in nature. The presentation will cover a topic of "How To" do something. Example may be "how to wash your hands thoroughly", or "Making a Cake" or "surf the internet properly". Anything that is deemed a demonstration of your expertise. Presenters will have 15 minutes to present with 2 minutes for questions.
