DESCRIPTION Cola®Teric A-35 Series is a group of related amphoterics designed for both personal care and industrial applications. This unique group of surfactants possesses a wide range of alkyl chain lengths, providing dramatic variability in surface and bulk properties. Other benefits include a favorable pH range to work from and the lack of any counter ion, allowing for new formulation techniques and ideas. Chemists now have a new option in product development using the Cola®Teric A-35 Series to explore different chain lengths and neutralizing bases in an easy format

BIODEGRADABILITY All of the Cola®Teroc A-35 Series amphoterics are biodegradable products.

APPLICATIONS All Cola®Teric A-35 Series amphoterics have a low toxicity profile making them suitable for a wide range of applications. Cola®Teric MSCA-35 and Cola®Teric CYA-35 are particularly useful in aggressive cleaning operations where a controlled foam level and rapid wetting are important. Cola®Teric CA-35 and Cola®Teric OA-35 have good applications in personal care products to augment mildness, foam height and density, and coupling characteristics. Cola®Teric TA-35 and Cola®Teric ISA-35 can be helpful as corrosion inhibitors in water-based lubricants or as textile and paper additives yielding lubricity and softness. Cola®Teric MSCA 35

SOLUTION CHARACTERISTICS Increased temperatures can significantly reduce any foaming tendencies and decrease wetting time. Cola®Teric ISA-35 and Cola®Teric OA-35 can form very viscous solutions by themselves at neutral pH levels. All Cola®Teric A-35 Series have solubility in water from pH 2 to pH 12. All Cola®Teric A-35 Series exhibit synergistic action with anionics for viscosification and hydrotroping.
