Cola®Det LPC CTFA/INCI: Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Ethylene Glycol Distearate, Disodium Cocamido MIPA Sulfosuccinate, Cocamide MEA, Water
DESCRIPTION Cola®Det LPC is designed to give an intense, persistent pearlescence in shampoos and conditioners. It can be added at any point in the formulation but is preferentially added at the end when any heating of the product has been reduced. The solubility of Cola®Det LPC also allows use in cold blends. The addition of a blue or green dye to the product will further enhance the overall appearance by increasing the reflectivity of Cola®Det LPC.
TYPICAL PROPERTIES Appearance Solids, % by Wt. pH, 10%
White pearlescent fluid 30.0 Min. 7.0 – 8.0
TYPICAL USE LEVELS A light opacifying peralescence can be achieved in 3% Cola®Det LPC. More opaque formulations need 6% - 8% Cola®Det LPC. Concentrates designed to be let down will need 10% - 12% Cola®Det LPC. Avoid excessive heat when preparing any pearlized product; otherwise the desired effect can be greatly reduced.
