Definition of Perception 

Perception is a unique interpretation of the situation, not an actual recording of it.



Perception is a very complex cognitive process that yields a unique picture of the world, a picture may be quite different from reality.



Perception means, the process of attaining knowledge, awareness and forming opinions based on our knowledge and taking decisions.

Difference between You and Your Boss     

When you don't do it, you're lazy. When your boss doesn't do it, he's too busy. When you make a mistake, you're an idiot. When your boss makes a mistake, he's only human. When you please your boss, you're apple polishing. When your boss pleases his boss, he's being co-operative When you're out of the office, you're wandering around. When your boss is out of the office, he's on business. When you make a mistake, your boss never forgets it When your boss makes a mistake, you are there to take the blame

Sensation 



The process through which the senses pick up visual, auditory, and other sensory stimuli and transmit them to the brain; sensory information that has registered in the brain but has not been interpreted

Perception 

The process by which sensory information is actively organized and interpreted by the brain
