When elected as the president of U.S.A you have many responsibilities such as vetoing and confirming laws. Second Question As America we celebrate many holidays. This exact one is called independence day. We started to celebrate this holiday in 1776. We made this holiday to celebrate the independence of are country. After the revolutionary war we started this holiday because we won our independence from great Britain. Third Question • There are many famous statues in the U.S.A. This one I think is the most famous. It is the statue of liberty. I think this is the most famous because it gave hopes to the immigrants coming to America. The statue of liberty was given to us on October 28, 1886. _________ gave it to us as a gift of friendship after the American revolution. Over the years it has become a very popular tourist spot. B. Fourth Question • The constitution is the law of the land. The constitution tells us our rights. We based our country off of the constitution. The constitution was adopted on September 17, 1787. Fifth Question • The American flag is the most important symbol in America. There have been seven American flags in America’s history. There are 13 stripes on the flag and 50 stars . The 50 stars are for the 50 states. The thirteen stripes stand for the original 13 colonies. There are three nicknames for the American flag old glory, stars and stripes, and the star spangled banner. What three colors are on the American flag? • A. Red, White, and Gold • B.
