IRELAND’S METAMORPHOSIS: FROM RECESSION TO EMERGENCE We invite you to join this diverse and seasoned panel of experts as they explore the ‘road ahead’ for Ireland and the path various sectors must take to ensure Ireland’s recovery and emergence from recession. This panel discussion will be facilitated by noted RTE journalist and presenter, Mark Little and will involve facilitated questions and discussion with our panelists and with the audience. We hope you will join us as we take a positive look at the current economic environment, exploring the opportunities that are available in an economic downturn and as we set a challenge for the rising generation to help lead Ireland into a new age. The DCU Educational Trust would like to thank Citi for its generous sponsorship of the Citi Speaker Series. The Citi Series runs in coordination with the DCU Business School, offering an Enterprise Development Mentoring Programme to inspire DCU’s final year business students, with entrepreneurial creativity tempered by practical commercial realism. Through their participation in the Citi Series, students gain a unique opportunity to actively engage with senior business practitioners on a range of issues, enhancing their skills and their knowledge of what it takes to do business in the modern environment. Dublin City University (DCU) is Ireland’s modern and innovative university and has pioneered the development of links with industry from its establishment. While committed to the ideals of academic excellence and integrity, DCU also aims to be progressive in championing new ideas, new technology, and new enterprise in partnership with the commercial sector.
