CAREER OVERVIEW & CAPABILITIES Dr. Christopher Atang is an innovative educator, skilled in all aspects of teaching Education, Developmental Reading, Critical Thinking, English (as a Second Language) courses. He is an enthusiastic, warm, and caring Educator/professional, sensitive to diverse students’ changing needs. He is an expert in developing, directing, and implementing effective pedagogy designed to assist all learners recognize their abilities for maximum learning and comprehension. He is able to develop, write, convert, format pedagogic procedures and training guides in accordance with current regulations according to corporate/institutional and technical training guidelines. Able to write, proof-read, edits, revise documents, and correlate documents to institutional guidelines. Can develop and/or validate testing for student learning. Taught Critical Thinking, English and Developmental Reading courses to undergraduate students enrolled in Houston Community College.

Designed and produced a host of multimedia presentations to enrich student learning experiences and higher retention for teacher education and beginning Reading students.

Improved Teacher Education students’ Examination for the Certification of Teachers in Texas (ExCET) scores by 20% pass rate.



Designed a Lesson Plan Format that is adopted by Anderson University Division of Education.
