Responsible for inventory of $5 million in communications radio, data and maintenance equipment. Supervise the employment and maintenance cycle of tactical radio systems for over 100 employees during combat operations. Conduct communications systems research and development to improve overall tactical communications capability. Oversaw operational deployment of communication assets and staff within a combat environment (five tours of duty within the Iraqi Theater of Operations.) Conducted radio frequency propagation studies and created detailed communications plans for LOS VHF, BLOS HF, UHF and SATCOM communications. Implemented operational directives.
