CHAPTER 2 PRESENTATION, ANALYSIS, AND INTERPRETATION

This

chapter

includes

all

of

the

data

gathered

by

the

researchers throughout the study. These data were the respondent's profile which composes of their gender, religion, and socio-economic status. The researchers were able to determine the the perception on Xenocentrism of the third year HRM students using the table that served as bases in interpreting the data gathered.

Table 1 shows the frequency and percentage of the respondents in terms of gender. It could be seen that majority of the respondents are female.

Table 3 shows the frequency and percentage of the respondents in terms of socio-economic status. The table shows that majority of the respondents belong to the middle class status.

CHAPTER 3

SUMMARY, FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS

This

chapter

covered

the

summary,

findings,

conclusion,

and

recommendations of which the researchers come up with. The findings were plainly described along with the implications. The summary of the study regarding the valuable information and the results on the research

methodology

that

the

researchers

have

been

using

in

obtaining the facts and figures were explained in details in this chapter.

SUMMARY The main purpose of this study was to determine the perception on Xenocentrism of the third year HRM students of the University of Cebu-Banilad Campus (School Year 2008-2009). Moreover, this study sought to answer the following questions:

2. How do respondents perceive Xenocentrism? 3. Based on the findings of the study, what recommendations may be proposed? Out of more than a hundred 3rd year HRM students, sixty (60)of

them participated the study. Some of the students refused to answer the

questionnaire

after

reading

its

contents.

Majority

of

the

respondents were females. Most of them belonged to the Roman Catholic Religion. Almost

all of the respondents belonged to the Middle Class

in terms of socio-economic Status. With the approval of Mr. Rene Osorno, Dean of the College of HRM, the study was made possible last January 19, 2009 during class hours.
