CFMU RELEASES DEPLOYMENT PLAN

EUROCONTROL CFMU

1.

Planned for Implementation in 2008 - 2009

INTRODUCTION The purpose of this document is to inform CFMU Users about the deployment schedule of the different services to be delivered with the CFMU releases. For each new service, the following are described: • Stakeholders, i.e. the categories of CFMU Users recipients of the new service. •

Operational deployment date, i.e. the availability date of the new service for operational use.

Documentation publication, i.e. the date of initial publication of the user documentation, and the associated location.

Training sessions, i.e. the training dates, and the related links for access.

Users’ validation, i.e. the sessions organised to assess the new service, in the framework of either an OPT (Operational Testing) session or a Pilot Phase.

A more detailed description of the functions can be found in the CFMU Releases Notes available on the CFMU Web Site: http://www.cfmu.eurocontrol.int/cfmu/public/site_preferences/display_library_list_publi c.html

2.

MILESTONES The major milestones of the CFMU Release deployments are the following: • CFMU_12.1: May 2008.

3.

CFMU_12.2:

October 2008.

CFMU_13.0:

April 2009.

LIST OF SERVICES The services to be deployed in the framework of the next CFMU Release are: • CFMU Data Distributions to AOs: ETFMS Data are distributed to Aircraft Operators during the flight’s life cycle.

Amendment date: 01 Dec. 2008

CIAM: the CHMI interface available to Airspace Managers.

eRAD via EAD: the publication of the eRAD through EAD/SDO in AIXM 4.5/XML format.

CCAMS for Operational Evaluation: the Centralised SSR Code Assignment and Management System will provide increased efficiency in the SSR code management and the ability to provide the flights with SSR codes for the entire operations.

Interactive NOP: will provide access to the Network Operations Plan via the CFMU Web Site (through a new interface: the NOP Portal).

Preparation of the UUP Process: CFMU systems will be able to accept Route and Airspace Status modifications after the publication of the CRAM. Edition 1.5 Edited & produced by the CFMU/User Relations and Development Bureau ©2008 European Organisation for the Safety of Air Navigation (EUROCONTROL)

Scenario Handling (Regulations): the change will ease the migration of Regulation definitions between the different ATFCM Phases, in particular between Pre-Tactical and Tactical Phases. Delay Allocation Refinement: the capture of the Traffic Flow for ATFCM measures will be dissociated from the identification of the cause of the congestion (hence from the delay attribution). Download of Static Data: the definition of points and airports will be directly downloaded from the EAD database to the CFMU ENV system. Preparation for the AROs Briefing: a first set of Web Services will be developed to prepare the access to the ARO Briefing functions via the NOP Access Layer. CHMI Services - Occupancy Monitoring Values: PEAK and SUSTAINED Occupancy Monitoring Values will be introduced in the Occupancy count graph display.

DEPLOYMENT PLAN The new services will be deployed according to the following plan:
