How the cell phone works. • The difference between a cell phone and a telephone is that a cell phone sends radioactive signals to the nearest cell phone tower. Then, the cell phone tower carries the signal to the cell phone tower closest to the person whom you are calling. Then the signals get transferred into waves and go to the person whom you are calling.
