CLINICAL CLASSES Clinical Immersion: Coronary Care Unit / Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital, Richmond, VA Provided 200+ hours of care for up to 2 patients under the supervision of an RN, assisting with monitoring and providing advanced technological interventions for critically ill cardiac-related patients. Clinical Classes included medical telemetry, general surgery, renal, oncology, neurology, mental health and critical care units. Administered oral, intravenous and injectable medications, monitored the administration of intravenous fluids and managed patients on ventilators.

College of Nursing Haiti Mission Team, 2019: Selected by faculty following competitive interview process to be 1 of 9 students to travel to Haiti: March, 2019. Provided care to more than 350 Haitians including antibiotics, antifungals, vitamins, wound care, patient education and taking vitals. Lewis Gale Emergency Room, Blacksburg, VA, 2015-2016: Assisted emergency department personnel in maintaining flow of patients by changing beds, cleaning rooms, gathering equipment, stocking rooms with medical supplies and directly participated in patient care by answering call bells and meeting basic needs.
