*** FOR YOUR DIARY *** PARISH ADVENT PREPARATION 2009 led by Canon Cronin will take place on the Fridays of Advent commencing November 27th. The Advent Preparation will take the form of a Holy Hour before the Blessed Sacrament in which our prayer springboard will be a prayerful reflection (Lectio Devina) on the Gospel of the coming Sunday. The Holy Hour will conclude with Benediction. Time 2-3pm. Church of Virgin Mother of Good Counsel All Most welcome. Bring a friend.

The recent Red Box collection produced a very satisfying £694. Our thanks to all our box holders and collectors for all their efforts and hard work. Registration for First Holy Communion classes 2010, please collect form from Rear of Church. Children are eligible who are at present in Year 3 or over.

ANNUAL ADVENT CENTREPIECE Friday 27th November, 7.00pm in the parish hall, is the date for preparing for Advent by making an Advent Centre-Piece. Come & enjoy this fun family activity with Karen of PenKraft. The Cost of £10 covers the supply of materials.
