Rewindable motors The 2-pole Grundfos MMS submersible motors are all easy to rewind. The windings of the stator are made of a special water-proof wire of pure electrolytic copper sheathed with special non-hydroscopic thermoplastic material. The fine dielectric properties of this material allow direct contact between the windings and the liquid for efficient cooling of the windings.

Industrial motors and MS6 T60-versions For heavy-duty applications Grundfos offers a complete motor range of industrial motors with up to 5% higher efficiency than that of Grundfos' standard motors. The industrial motors are available in sizes as from 2.2 kW up to 22 kW. The cooling of the motor is very efficient due to the large motor surface. The efficient cooling makes it possible to increase the liquid temperature to 60°C at a minimum flow of 0.15 m/s past the motor.The industrial motors are for customers who value low operating costs and long life higher than price.
Please note that heavy-duty motors are longer than motors for standard conditions.

Grundfos industrial motors are developed for difficult operating conditions. These motors will stand a higher thermal load than standard motors and thus have a longer life when subjected to high load. This applies whether the high load is caused by bad power supply, hot water, bad cooling conditions, high pump load etc. Fig. 10 MMS motors

LCCP
R32 refrigerant is a stable refrigerant. The amount of refrigerant charge deposited into the unit is insufficient to cause ignition.
1. Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP) is an indicator to evaluate the total global warming impact of refrigerants. 2. Factors included in LCCP are emission during: • refrigerant manufacturing. • air conditioner manufacturing. • air conditioner operating, servicing, and disposal. 3. LCCP of R32 refrigerant is the lowest, which promotes itself as a better substitution for future refrigerant.
Energy efficiency
1. Several factors that contribute to better efficiency of R32 system are: • R32 refrigerant has lower vapour density and lower system mass flow rate. Thus, about 50% lower pressure drop can be expected. • R32 refrigerant has 43-50% higher latent heat compared to R410A. • R32 refrigerant has 41% higher liquid thermal conductivity compared to R410A, which permits better heat transfer at the same mass flux.

Upgraded Fan Motor Design
Precise airflow control through the Silicon-ControlledRectifier (SCR) continuous fan motor allows for seamless and quieter transitions between fan speeds. Personalise with 5 selectable fan speeds , or choose from a suite of built-in presets including Sleep, Powerful and Quiet modes.
Powerful Mode
Unwind at the end of the day with Sleep Mode, which gradually increases set temperature according to regular sleeping temperature patterns for an effortlessly personalised sleeping environment.
Quiet Mode
Reduce background noise with Quiet Mode, which decreases the sound pressure level to as low as 25dBA, barely louder than the rustling of leaves.
Timer
This timer can start or stop the air conditioner within a 24-hour period and can be preset in 30 minute steps using the wireless remote controller. The On Timer and Off Timer can be used in combination.
Once activated, this feature will engage the indoor fan motor to run at maximum speed for 20 minutes. The turbo airflow enables the desired temperature to be achieved faster, especially in larger spaces.
