Proposal Essay When my fellow students and I were told about the Senior Exhibition Project and given the requirements I was honestly nervous and I didn’t know what I wanted to do. As I researched around on the internet and asked my classmates what they were doing. I found out that my good friend Addy thought up the idea to do a fun run to raise money to the foundation Hayestough. As our ideas were put together the small ideas turned into a big ideas and our project was put in motion. Addy and I propose that we set up a Fun Run to raise money for the foundation who helps child cancer families pay the bills that are required for treatments. Cancer is already an emotional burden so why make it a financial one, too? Our plan of action is first we will create a name and logo for our fun run. After we have created our name and logo we will continue on to make posters with our logo and mission statement on it to raise awareness and after getting them stamped by the office we will hang them around the high school. While the posters are hung up in the school Addy and I will be making frequent social media posts to our Instagram and Facebook accounts. Somewhere within this time period we will be putting our logo on flyers and my dads work can print out the flyers for free. We want to start the run at a park in our neighborhood. A date has been picked for our run and it will be April 13th.

We, like many of the doubters are worried that no one would show up or want to come. We are also both on sports teams and so that helps reach out to many other people. We also picked a date that there isn’t a track meet so there is an opening for the high school track kids to run in it. The outcome we hope will happen is making money for the foundation Hayestough. We don’t have a specific money goal in mind. Any money we make will help families no matter how big or small the donation is. In conclusion, we want to organize a fun run to help relieve part of the financial situations that patients and their families are going through. We will be giving 100% of the money to the Hayestough Foundation and do our best to get the most money we can for them. After our fun run the families will definitely not be paying the full cost of cancer.
