NOTICE IN ENGLISH VERSION As per Section 21 of the Tamil Nadu Value Added Tax Act 2006, every registered dealer shall file return, in the prescribed form showing the total and taxable turnover within the prescribed period (on or before 20th of the succeeding month) in the prescribed manner, along with proof of payment of tax. The tax under this section shall become due without any notice of demand to the dealer. You are a registered dealer in this Assessment Circle. You have failed to file monthly returns. Hence, you are requested to file the monthly returns, along with proof of payment of tax, within 7 (seven) days of receipt of this notice, failing which, it will be presumed that you are not continuing business and hence action will be initiated to cancel the registration issued to you under the TNVAT Act, without any further notice.
