Canada and its Trading Partners Trade Brochure Goal: You’re a Trade Ambassador for your country. Your country and Canada are already linked economically. Given the current world economy you would like to strengthen that connection as well as persuade Canada, and Canadians, that your country has more to offer. A. Choose a partner. (Choose wisely)

C. You and your partner will research the following topics:

1) Cover Page (title, flag) 2) Location of your Country (Where is it in the World?) 3) Geographic Features (climate/terrain) 4) Government Features (population) 5) Exports to Canada – What do you export and what more could you do?

6) Imports from Canada – What do you import and what more could you do?

D. You and your partner will compile (collect and put together from various sources) information following the following guidelines.

1) Plan and create a mock-up (full-sized scale model) of your brochure. Be sure to proof read it with your partner. 2) Create a good copy of your brochure that is creative, researched, and colourful.

E. You and your partner will present this brochure to the class. Keep in mind that the

purpose of this brochure is to persuade us that your country is the best and has the most to offer Canada and Canadians. :O)
