Location

Bangladesh is a very small country located

right next to the large country of India.

Bangladesh Food Curry is a very popular seasoning used in

practically all local dishes. It is often combined with other spices and different foods to make different tastes. Chai tea is a very popular drink. It is milky , and very sweet. Today it can be found in grocery stores across the country and in popular coffee/tea houses.

Bangles Bangles-there has been a tradition of wearing

bangles throughout India and Bangladesh for centuries. Ancient statues show women with there arms draped in bangles. Nowadays women wear them to show their own sense of fashion instead of a tradition as their mothers and grandmothers had.



The Land Natural Resources-Natural gas, arable land,

Everything Water Bangladesh’s waterways are the main way of

transportation. This is because there are so many rivers throughout their country. Precipitation-Bangladesh has the third highest out flow of water. The Padma, Jamuna and Megha are the three largest rivers. They all flow to the Bay of Bengal. The Cyclones are one of the biggest problems in Bangladesh  

The People People-The women of Bangladesh, India and

other Middle Eastern Countries are known to wear Saris. They are woven of finely patched cloth. Government-They have a parliamentary democracy. They hold direct elections every five years where everyone 18 years and older may vote. Religion Population-With 156,050,883 people 89.7% Islam 9.2% Hinduism Bangladesh is the seventh most populated 0.7% Buddhism 0.3% Christianity 0.1% Animism country. Dialect-Bangle is the official language in Bangladesh.

The Problems

Economy-Bangladesh has the 48th largest

growing economy in the world in 2008. Thanks to the new money that they are getting thanks to tourism and other endeavors they have been able to meet the food needs for their growing population. Education-Their education is rather underdeveloped.
