Community Meeting will be held

Wednesday 11th February 7.30pm at Powell Town Hall, Blake Street Powelltown. At the community meetings representatives from CFA &DSE will give information on the current fire situation, the fire outlook for the coming days, fire safety and how to best prepare for any threat, as well as answer your questions. Residents are strongly encouraged to attend the community meetings. CFA and DSE advise; There may be increased amounts of smoke in the area from this fire. Road users are advised to take extra care as road travel may be hazardous due to low visibility from smoke. Even though this fire does not currently pose a threat, people in high risk bushfire areas are reminded to have a bushfire survival plan ready to implement during the summer period.
