2 Trials • The first date was set for June 25, 1979 in Miami, Florida • The court case centered on the brutal attacks on the Chi Omega sorority girls

• The second trial took place in January 1980 in Orlando, Florida • Ted was tried for the murder of Kimberly Leach

1st trial • In the Chi Omega trial Bundy decided to act as his own attorney • He was confident in his ability to defend himself

Appeals and confessions • Bundy confessed and told the chief investigator that he had victims heads hanging on his wall as trophies • He admitted to engaging in acts such as necrophilia with some of the remains of his victims

Execution • On January 24, 1989 Ted Bundy was executed by the electric chair as hundreds of spectators and media representatives awaited the news of Ted’s death
