Presentations Home Clinic The Home Clinic is a project provided by Housing Opportunities Collaborative, a coalition of nonprofit organizations and agencies in the San Diego region. The Home Clinic is a one-stop center of counseling resources provided at no cost to attendees. Distressed homeowners will receive legal and consumer protection assistance, credit counseling and fair housing counseling, as well as access to agencies that can help their plight.

Military Millionaire Workshops Four workshop topics will be offered: Retirement Planning and Thrift Savings Plan, Saving and Investing, Credit Management, and Consumer Awareness.

Ed Olander Ed earned a Masters Degrees in Education from Chapman University while on active duty. He retired in 1998 as Lieutenant and worked as a secondary teacher in the Poway Unified School District for 5 years and later as a tour guide for Historic Tours of America. Ed has worked as a Personal Financial Educator at the Fleet and Family Support Center San Diego since September 2006 and is an Accredited Financial Counselor.

Deborah Johnson After working as a Math and Science Teacher over a period of 25 years for Department of Defense Schools in Europe, Deborah joined the FFSC staff in August 2005 as a Work and Family Life Consultant in the Transition Assistance Program. In October 2006 she moved into the Financial Educator Position she now holds at Fleet and Family Support Center Naval Base Point Loma. Deborah has a BA in Biology, a M.Ed. in Counseling and holds the AFCPE Financial Counseling Certificate.

Dreya Kirkland Dreya has a Bachelors degree in Communication and Education and has been a counselor and teacher for youth and young adults for ten years. Aside from teaching she has experience with running her own business and personal investing.

Sammy, the “Get in the Habit Rabbit!” Sam Renick is a children's author, songwriter, speaker, trainer, and social entrepreneur. He is the founder of The “It's a Habit!” Company, Inc. (IAHC) and co-creator of Sammy, the "Get in the Habit!" Rabbit. Mr. Renick's focus is elementary age children.

Trevor Romain Trevor Romain has taken what he has learned over the past two decades from speaking to tens of thousands of children and creates a product to promote social, emotional, and health fitness for students. Mr. Romain has long differentiated himself as a one-of-a-kind speaker, children's author/illustrator and children's advocate by speaking to children in their own language.
