Getting there Maybe the easiest way to get in Budapest, if you are not currently in Europe, when traveling there is by plane. Budapest (Ferihegy) International Airport,( Ferihegyi Nemzetközi Repülőtér; pronounced "Ferry-hedge") is the country's largest airport, located about 6

16 km (10 miles) southeast of the city center. Ferihegy has two terminals, Terminal 1 and Terminal 2, often called Ferihegy-1 and Ferihegy-2, respectively. Terminal 2 is the hub of the Hungarian national carrier, Malév. If you are in Europe when traveling there , we suggest going by plane. Budapest is very easily reached from other countries in Europe, because of your location in the central part of this continent.

Accommodation Budapest has an excellent hotel system and we are sure that won’t have anything to complain about it. We suggest you to stay on “ Mercure Budapest Korona Hotel” . It is placed “In the heart of the city, opposite the National Museum and a few minutes to the river Danube. 420 soundproof, air-conditioned rooms with bath, Sat-TV, modem. 1 Restaurant, bars, meeting / congress rooms, pool, sauna, and parking facilities” as they describe on their web site.
