Most of the currently available supportive equipment or system for the blind for communication is voice based. Voice based communication is not effective when it comes to textual communications since voice to text conversion tools fails due to variation in pronunciation of various regions of people. Thus, there is a need for an effective supportive system for the blind for the text-based communication like emails, SMS etc. We propose braille text-based communication device for the blind people to address this problem.

In this project we are using to help blind people to read the e-mail automatically. In the raspberry pi is loaded with an OS Raspbian Jessy and its connected to internet through Wi-Fi, pi3 will keep on checking Gmail inbox if any e-mail received then it will download the attached file and it start reading the file. We are designing braille type keyboard to help blinds to type letters using slot sensor and we are introducing feedback system for blinds to confirm the which character is typed. After typing blind will get vibration for every character in different fingers using vibrating motors.
