•Haceta Head – Florence, OR •Yaquina Head - Agate Beach, OR

Haceta Head Lighthouse •Haceta Head built in 1894 and manually beaconed until 1963 when technology took over the mechanics of the light where it still shines today •Took 5 years to build due to its 205’ steep incline over the Pacific •Ghost is said to be the spirit of a broken hearted mother (named Rue) who lost her child due to a fall from the cliffs or by drowning •In National Historic Register •Light keeps house turned into a Bed and Breakfast 1995

Yaquina Head Lighthouse •YaquinaHead built in 1872 and manually beaconed until May 1, 1966 when technology took over the mechanics of the light where it still shines today. •The signature for the light house is; signature of two seconds on, two seconds off, two seconds on, then 14 seconds off. •At 93’ high, Yaquina Head LH is the tallest tower on the Oregon coast. •Ghost is said to be the spirit of a workman who was killed by falling when the LH was being built.
