Since November 2005, the Monte-Carlo Opera's Salle Garnier (which owes its name to the famous architect who built the Paris Opera) has recovered all of its original sparkle from back in the days when Sarah Bernhardt officially inaugurated the stage in 1879. The Salle Garnier has clearly demonstrated its cultural prestige by hosting famous operas such as "Le Voyage à Reims" by Rossini or "Tosca" by Puccini.
