What we do:  Provide support to Community Based Voluntary Organizations that increase their effectiveness.  Undertake study, research and evaluation programme of functioning of development organizations, foundations and trusts engaged in public welfare and development activities.  Provide consultancy service in the areas of education, self-employment, agriculture, health, nutrition, child development and women welfare.  Provide necessary assistance and service for the vocational training, income generation programmes for artisans, youth, women handicapped and socio-economically backward people.  Promote, develop and improve scientific exchange of knowledge as well as technical co-operation between similar development and research institutions.  Organize seminars, workshops, discussions, exchange education programme, demonstrations, exhibitions, symposia, conference etc. on social issues and development issues.  Undertake relief and rehabilitation activities incase of emergency situation
