The Man In The Moon has been running weekly workshops since 1990. We believe that every child deserves the chance to shine. Children make new friends, work as part of a team, grow in confidence and concentration, and build social and verbal skills.

Another exciting way to help your child shine are our non-residential drama day camps for children aged 6 to 12. Children make new friends, work as part of a team, grow in confidence and concentration, and build social and verbal skills. Our fun, friendly and enthusiastic crew are there every step of the way to encourage and inspire children, helping them believe in themselves and develop their skills. All that children need to bring with them is enthusiasm. It doesn’t matter if they’ve never done anything like this before: this is a great place to start. Our exciting themes, improvisations, role-play, games, movement and craft projects are all designed to help the imagination run free – a dramatic adventure to remember forever.

Our day camps are fully registered and inspected by Ofsted. Crew members are selected for their experience and personality, and have been through full training and thorough checks with the Criminal Records Bureau. At all times we have at least two crew members on site who have been trained in first aid. We have an excellent venue, Camelsdale School in Haslemere, Surrey, which offers convenient access from both the A3 and surrounding villages. A new extension gives bright, spacious indoor areas, and there is an exciting outdoor environment too. We provide everything children will need, including water and squash at break times and a piece of fresh fruit or bread stick for their morning snack. All you need to provide adventurers with is a packed lunch. We endeavour to make day camp nut-free, and the crew exercise extra vigilance with children who have allergies.
