The municipality of Alicia is one of the 37 Municipalities of the Province of Isabela. It lies 54 kilometers south of Ilagan, the Capital Town of the Province through the Maharlika Highway and approximately seven (7) hours trip at a distance of 347 kilometers to Manila. It is accessible to its neighboring municipalities like Angadanan, Echague, San Isidro Cauayan, San Mateo and Ramon.

Alicia is primarily an agricultural municipality best suited for the intensive production of rice and corn as evidence by its topographic map which shows that almost 71% of the total agricultural area of 14,063.913 hectares is under 0-3 slope category. Alicia has the widest span of land area for farming in the province of Isabela.

☼ For the month of January a total number of 32 crime incident were recorded, 28 of this are Vehicular accidents which transpired along the Maharlika highway, 1 RIR in Homicide and 4 other crimes (1 Robbery, 1 Murder (shooting incident) and R.A 7610). ☼ For the month of February a total number of 23 crime incident recorded, 19 are vehicular accident, Which include two (2) RIR in Homicide and 3 other crimes.(1 VAWC, 1 Robbery, ! Rape w/ serious Illegal detention) ☼ For the month of March 2015, 29 crimes incident were recorded 20 are vehicular accident and 9 other crimes were recorded ( 1 Ilegal possession of F/As, 4 Theft, 3 Frustrated Homicide and 1 malicious mischief) ☼ For the month of April 2015, there were 26 crime incident recorded, 20 incident caused by vehicular accident and one (1) RIR in Homicide and 6 other crimes were recorded. ☼ For the month of May 1-21, 2015 a total number of 10 crime incident were recorded, eight (8) out of 10 are vehicular accident and two (2) other crimes recorded (2 Threat) ☼ For the period from January 1, 2015 to May 21, 2015, A total number of 119 crime incident were recorded. 95 crime incident recorded cause by vehicular accident which transpired along national road.

Comparison of vehicular accident; in the illustration above, Accident during daytime is higher compared to the accident during night time, but in terms of injury, Accident during at night usually have a serious injury that resulted to physical deformity or death and for the period from January 1 to May 21, 2015 four (4) incident of Reckless Imprudence Resulting in Homicide were recorded and this happened during at night.
